Apache Camel Description

Camel is an Open Source integration framework. It allows you to integrate different systems that consume or produce data quickly and easily. Camel supports the majority of Enterprise Integration Patterns as described in the book by Bobby Woolf and Gregor Hohpe. You can also use microservice architectures and newer integration patterns to solve your integration problems. Apache Camel can be embedded in Spring Boot, Quarkus and Application Servers. Camel subprojects are focused on making your job easier. It contains many hundred components that can be used to access databases, message queues and APIs. Integrating with everything. Camel supports approximately 50 data formats, which allows you to translate messages into multiple formats and support industry standard formats such as finance, telco and health-care.
