Amazon Detective automatically collects log data and uses machine learning, statistical analyses, and graph theory. This allows you to conduct faster and more efficient security investigations. AWS security services such as Amazon GuardDuty and Amazon Macie can be used to identify security issues or findings. These services can alert you to potential security issues and point you in the right direction to fix them. Sometimes, however, a security finding might require you to dig deeper and analyze more information in order to determine the root cause and take corrective action.
