Alibaba Cloud DRDS Description
Alibaba Cloud's Distributed Relational Database Service is a lightweight, flexible and stable middleware product. DRDS focuses primarily on expanding standalone relational database and has been tested using core transaction links in Tmall such as during Singles' Day Shopping Festival. DRDS is trusted and has been in use for ten years. Cluster-based data read/write and data storage. DRDS works on multiple servers and is not affected by the number or quality of connections. Supports upgrading and downgrading data configurations and the visualization of scale-up/scale-out of data storage. To improve linearly the reading performance, read and write splitting is available. Multiple data splitting methods are available depending on the data type, such as parallel data split. Supports parallel query execution and focuses on the primary shards.
