Summary: AimBetter console can be customized in alarm thresholds by You or Support Team to satisfy specific customer needs; this monitoring tool is quite complex and needs some time to clearly understand all metrics, but after a few hours of console utilization You have a complete and clear comprehension of what happens into Your databases: user activities,
slow queries, deadlocks, blocking queries, bottlenecks, tempdb utilization, resource utilization, etc.
Agent sends all the metrics captured to a remote server in cloud that preserve them for a long time; this permits to monitor from console real time events or historical events, for example during night or weekend, batch or maintenance activity, and to compare the same metric between two different time sample to understand its time trend evolution.

Positive: My team chose this tool to monitor a complex environment made of more than one hundred of databases allocated on a few SQL Server clustered instances that suffered many problems at the beginning. This tool is based on a SaaS solution in Cloud, so one single AimBetter agent was installed on a third machine to monitor all these instances. Just after a couple of days of Aimbetter monitoring we were in condition to identify and classify hundreds of problems into our databases: syntax errors, security issues, bottlenecks, tempdb overload, deadlocks, etc.; we divided them in groups and forwarded one part to developers, the other to Database Administrators. Solved initial problems, now we are able to monitor in real time our instances and to analyze, troubleshoot and solve emerging problems a few time after an alarm reported by this tool.

Negative: Into the console you will find two main sections: one is a dashboard useful for monitoring health status with alert and alarms, the other goes deeply into many specific areas of investigation, collecting a lot of parameters and their evolution; a little more attention to a cross drill down between alarms and metrics analysis could help to investigate faster and more clear.

Summary: The service experience and the management interface are at a high level, a team attentive to customer requirements and various requests. The system reflects to us problems that we were not aware of and helped us to improve the performance and availability of the systems.

Positive: A best monitoring system on the database and on the organization's servers, which gives us full transparency the organization systems.

Summary: Overall this tool is and feels part of our company and teams. having an AI team mate is ingenious. I recommend this tool to everyone.

Positive: The tool has saved our company thousands of dollars on a monthly basis. It has allowed our IT team to concentrate on other needed aspects of our company and alerts us within seconds anything out of the ordinary. It is simple to use. simple to understand and amazingly incredibly well priced

Negative: Have not found any as of yet. even the time difference has not been a problem.

Summary: I am very satisfied with this product - its very helpful for me , if it was little less pricey i would put it on all of my SQL servers.

Negative: Can be a little too complex to analyze some of the data myself since the language of dba is a little foreign to me could be a little cheaper.
Dashboard can be made a little more flexible and modern.

Negative: The price is expensive, it does not support NoSQL servers like MongoDB.

Summary: I have used this tool for more than 5 years and it helped me to find and understand a lot of problems.

Positive: Very easy to find problems in your system.
Looking at logs to learn of your previous behavior.
And to control all of your servers.

Negative: It took me a little time to learn to control the fetcher.

Negative: Does not monitor wide enough traffic between servers. e.g between IIS server and SQL server.

Summary: I am an early user of AimBetter. We use it at our company to diagnose hard to find issues in customer environments using our software products. I love how how they keep improving the product and adding features all the time. Their support is top notch as well. 10/10.

Positive: Saved us tons of time pinpointing exact problems with customer systems - either within the database itself or their systems. The time saved and customer satisfaction is the easiest ROI to calculate.

Excellent customer service that motivates us to learn new features and use them wisely.

Negative: At first the vast amount of features and options can be overwhelming. But their onboarding process quickly resolves those.

Summary: We are very satisfied with AimBetter tools and impressed by the professionalism, knowledge and responsiveness of the staff.

Positive: - the proactive approach where based on the sql activity the Aimbetter support are reacting and contacting us in the case of any concern
- the notifications option on the monitoring tool are great
- the knowledge and skills of the staff . we worked with several , including but not limited to Royi, Anastasia. Royi is who we normally talk to and he always showed patience and professionalism, provided recommendations and resolved the issues in a timely manner
- the monitoring tool gives a good indication where the issue might reside, although requires training and to be used by IT professional.

Negative: The only cons is that training required to use the monitoring tool and sometimes some assistance to be able to investigate. this however improves with time, like any other tool i suppose.
