This initiative is the result of years of effort involving over a dozen companies and specialists working together through AgGateway. Central to this project is the ADAPT framework, which includes an agricultural application data model, a standardized API (Application Programming Interface), as well as a mix of both open-source and proprietary data conversion plug-ins. Each participating FMIS (Farm Management Information System) company is tasked with adapting their own implementation to align the agricultural application data model with their specific FMIS data model.
