    Perfect Solution

    Date: Aug 28 2026

Summary: This is the perfect solution if you want to leave or seek for an alternative to filezilla. If you want a more modern ui, very fast connection and a stable program, this is it!

Positive: I like very much the Modern interface what is. Also the dual pane is perfect if you come from Filezilla. This is just a perfect free solution if you want an alternative

Negative: There is no import available what makes youre setup during longer. The setup is the same nut needs some attention,I want more languages

Thank you for taking the time to write this, and for the detail: a review this specific is worth a great deal to a small free project, and it is the kind of thing that helps other people find us. Both of your cons are already covered in the version you are running. Settings > Backup > the "Bridge" row imports your FileZilla sitemanager.xml, saved passwords included, into AeroFTP's encrypted vault, and it works with 15 tools in both directions: https://docs.aeroftp.app/features/filezilla And there are 47 interface languages, under Settings > Appearance > Interface > Language. If yours is missing or a string reads badly, open an issue on GitHub and we will fix it in the next release. Welcome aboard, and enjoy the switch. Ale (axpnet)

    Love it!

    Date: Aug 19 2026

Summary: It's excellent; beats the old tools by a mile. I was using Cyberduck forever but that tool hasn't changed in a decade. I'm happy to move on to something better.

Positive: It's so intuitive and the UI is beautiful. It's going to be my daily SFTP driver from now on. Kudos!!

Negative: None. I can't think of anything that I would change.

Thank you for this, it genuinely made our week: for a free project, someone stopping to write a review is the best reward there is. Since you are coming from Cyberduck, you do not have to rebuild your connections by hand. Settings > Backup > the "Bridge" row imports .duck bookmarks directly (and 14 other tools' configs). Cyberduck keeps its secrets in the OS keychain rather than in the bookmark, so the connections come across and you enter each password once. Welcome aboard, and if anything ever gets in your way, open an issue on GitHub: we read the tracker every day. Ale (axpnet)

Finally, the desktop client I was looking for.

    Date: Apr 12 2026

Summary: Overall, AeroFTP is an excellent, modern FTP client that delivers a smooth experience across platforms, with a responsive team and constant updates.

Positive: My experience with AeroFTP has been truly outstanding. After years of using FTP clients that felt like they were stuck in the Stone Age, this one is a breath of fresh air: modern, feature-rich, and constantly evolving with regular updates.

Being cross-platform is a huge advantage, as it finally allows me to enjoy a sleek and up-to-date client on Arch Linux.

    Highly recommended!

Negative: No one specifically, following a few complaints, the technical team addressed my needs.

A very late thank you, and apologies for the delay: this review deserved an answer months ago, and it has been quietly helping people find AeroFTP ever since. We are grateful for it, and for the reports you sent before writing it: user complaints are what most of our release notes are made of. The two things you singled out are still the plan. Cross platform parity remains first class, and Arch stays current: aeroftp-bin on the AUR is on 4.1.8, in step with the latest release. The release pace has not slowed either. Thank you again for the trust, and for sticking with us all these months. Ale (axpnet)
