Adaptive Bank in a Box (BiaB) Description
The Adaptive Bank in a Box, or BiaB, is a graph-based application that can be hosted on the Cloud. This allows financial services organizations to take advantage of best practices in financial industry content. This includes data and models that link industry content to the organization's data. This allows for proper assessments and processes, including data privacy and mandates for AML. Universal Banks will have an adaptive business function model (ABFM) that will detail at the right level of detail all the key front, middle, and back office activities in Retail, Commercial, and Investment Banking. Universal Banks will have an adaptive business information model (ABIM), which will provide key information and data-related concepts as well as their logical attributes across all functions. The ABIM will serve as a de facto data glossary and dictionary that banks can customize to suit their environment.
