Keeps our small group organized Date: Dec 23 2020
Summary: We are a small group and all work remotely. Our training has lots of moving parts so figuring out who is where on a project is challenging. ActiveCollab meets the majority of our needs well: tasks can be assigned with deadlines to individuals and you can also have a big picture view of what's going on. The email activity summary is very useful - all of the email alerts are handy. They offer non-profit pricing which makes an already pretty affordable tool even better.
Positive: Simple interface that makes getting started with project management easy. Pricing is affordable. Setting things up took a relatively short period of time and you can import Basecamp projects quickly if you're migrating (we were).
Negative: It would be nice to be able to customize the left menu (taking out what we don't use).
