Positive: I like ActiveBatch because of its user friendly interface and impressive integration features which simplify the process of creating workflows.

Negative: As of now I don't find any issue while using the product.

Summary: ActiveBatch enables the creation of streamlined processes, providing visibility into all tasks to facilitate parallel execution selection. Its job scheduling format is structured and familiar, resembling everyday practices, thus ensuring user-friendly operation

Positive: Monitoring downtime across multiple servers and managing logs from numerous jobs is a laborious process, often requiring switching between multiple tabs and applications. ActiveBatch simplifies this by efficiently tracking service downtime and job logs with ease.

Negative: I appreciate ActiveBatch's efforts to stay updated with current UI trends. However, there are areas where enhancements could make ActiveBatch more accessible to beginners.

Summary: I have been using this software for a considerable period and have not experienced a single instance of complete failure.
Also I had no trouble monitoring every object in ActiveBatch and conducting its health checks smoothly.

Positive: The standout quality of ActiveBatch is its exceptional stability. We've encountered only minor issues, mostly stemming from server patches activity, which we promptly resolved using ActiveBatch. ActiveBatch performs precisely as anticipated for scheduling software.

Negative: The annual renewal cost for the license is higher than that of other automation tools, but if this could be reduced, everything else about it seems excellent.

Summary: ActiveBatch tool offers a comprehensive collection of pre-configured job steps that are ready to use, significantly saving me time on identifying needs, analyzing processes, defining procedures, scripting, preparing, and executing tasks.

Positive: Our project is being monitored by team members with diverse skills in various tools and server processors through a centralized platform, enabling agile processes and immediate adjustments or remedies as needed.

Negative: Because of security protocols and multiple security measures, installing the ActiveBatch software can be a challenging task.

Summary: ActiveBatch considers every item as an object, enabling the reuse of objects in job creation/scheduling and decreasing the administrative burden associated with supporting and maintaining multiple objects.This automation tool is excellent, easy to use which requires no code, and features effective job alert capabilities.

Positive: My experience with the ActiveBatch automation tool was exceptional. It proved to be swifter, more effective, and also minimized the potential for errors.

Negative: Navigating the ActiveBatch automation tool can be daunting without proper training or documentation, given its intricate menus that may not immediately reveal their optimal uses.

It features a robust alerting and notification system that promptly informs users of any process difficulties or failures, providing options for resolution.

Its versatility allows for widespread adoption across various industries and organizations of all scales, showcasing its broad range of applications.

Negative: While ActiveBatch is highly adaptable and configurable for a wide range of applications, some of our project team and IT owners have expressed challenges in modifying workflows or establishing custom integrations.

Negative: Occasionally, it fails to initiate job triggers promptly despite the presence of data; it should have the capability to seamlessly integrate with multiple cloud platforms.

Summary: ActiveBatch minimizes the potential for errors and offers detailed insights into each element in our 3 tier system. The reports are highly detailed and aesthetically pleasing, making them perfect for presenting to key business shareholders.

Positive: The automation feature is extremely beneficial, as it relieves users from the monotony of performing repetitive tasks.

Negative: Uploading more video tutorials and blogs on ActiveBatch software would be immensely valued for user guidance.

Summary: It has aided in identifying server errors, diagnosing and resolving problems, generating reports, and tracking the most recent dump files on the server. We can easily detect server/job failures and address challenges within agreed SLA timelines.

Positive: The most valuable feature it provides is the capability to initiate jobs upon the completion of dependent parent jobs in main production plan.

Negative: As a beginner user, I faced difficulties in comprehending, configuring, and deploying the tool into different environment.

Summary: ActiveBatch has enhanced our organization by simplifying job scheduling and API integration with ease. ActiveBatch has enabled us to schedule complex jobs and file transfer events with simple scripts. Even during server downtime or failures, jobs are not canceled but continue from the point they stopped, thus eliminating the need for data reconciliation.

With its real-time monitoring dashboard and reporting capabilities, the ActiveBatch enables its user to oversee and manage the entire progress of their file transfer job, event trigger job, and workflows thoroughly.

Negative: In the initial stages, we encountered difficulties setting up ActiveBatch software, and importing jobs from the legacy system to ActiveBatch proved challenging.

Summary: ActiveBatch pre-defined job steps are an excellent addition, which saves time and energy in pinpointing, scrutinizing, streamlining, organizing, and supervising the automation sequence.It has become the cornerstone of our infrastructure now

Positive: ActiveBatch enables accurate job scheduling at business-specified intervals, it also ensures effortless job execution based on specified time intervals. Active Batch comes with thousands of pre-built features.

Negative: Whenever we perform a server reboot or patching activity on ActiveBatch, we have to manually set jobs to hold status. After the server reboots, some features do not start automatically and require manual intervention.

Summary: Event-based job scheduling enhances ActiveBatch's capabilities. When a file is placed in a specific location or directory, it automatically triggers a file transfer job that completes the transfer. This eliminates the need for the job to be scheduled at a recurring frequency.

Positive: Previous automation tools, such as CPS and UC4, needed human intervention to regularly monitor jobs and alerts. In contrast, ActiveBatch automates the management and monitoring of jobs, providing controlled access across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Negative: Despite its high configurability, ActiveBatch may have limitations in customization for certain business/ functional scenarios and integration with 3rd party applications needs additional expertise support and troubleshooting.

Summary: Overall I can It is the best automation where we can streamline our operations without any manual intervention.

Positive: Sending real time alerts for failed and long running jobs helps business to save huge time moreover we can easily check the dependency and if required we can rerun it. ActiveBatch is very useful for a large enterprise with complex It infrastructure because It supports different platform including Linux, Unix, Windows.

Negative: It could see there is room for improvement in supporting clouds platform like AZURE and AWS

Positive: The capability to centralize and manage tasks within a single software solution enables the handling of virtually any IT workload, as long as the job is well-designed.
ActiveBatch does continuous monitoring of jobs and keeps track of any kind of file transfer failure /issue and resolving them quickly, thereby enhancing efficiency.

Negative: Every aspect of the ActiveBatch is commendable. But Pricing and annual license renewal is a bit high compared to other automation tools. But other than pricing active batch provides lots of drag-and-drop options which makes our daily work faster and more efficient.

Summary: Our team setup this ActiveBatch from scratch and made it more stable and reliable tool by the time when we deployed into production.
ActiveBatch takes whole responsibility in delivering on time file transfers, managing workload etc.
Complex file transfers are done with ease without any interruptions. Data is also safe and secured while transferring. This has boosted our business.

Positive: Many confidential files can be transferred through FPP server which has high level security and authentication for each process.
It is event driven automation tool which helps save time and effort and can minimize failures.

Negative: ActiveBatch has top notch features and rich built in functionality which can integrate the entire process in one go. so there's nothing much to be improved as i noticed till now.
