AboveBoard is a black hole Date: Jan 10 2024
Summary: At first pass it seems like a great exclusive recruitment firm job board (hidden jobs) but in the end is just any other non-responsive one-way-street job board.
Positive: Some good opportunities. Ability to filter by location or remote. Some automated messaging for non-responsive applications (which they all end up being).
Negative: Opportunities seem good, but there is never a response or a way to interact with a human. It's basically a job board for a major recruitment firm and they don't want to have to interact with anyone. Also, it does a terrible job of allowing flexibility for customized resumes (resume per opportunity).

Would Never Use Again Date: Feb 17 2023
Summary: I would avoid this job board completely. Not worth the time and frustrations you’ll have. There are plenty of other options out there that will treat you like a customer and have taken the steps to create strong customer service skills and communication that is helpful.
Positive: The descriptions of the positions they claim to represent were written well and piqued my interest enough to reach out and try and learn more.
Negative: Communication with their team was non-existent and when they did respond it was either them making a mistake (rolling my conversation into a conversation with another client with the same name) or asking me the same question, over and over, even though it had already been answered several times.

Useless site Date: Oct 20 2022
Summary: Avoid. There are much better job boards than this. Pretty much any of them. You can't even provide cover letters or any real tailoring of a resume. You just indicate "Interested" and walk away (and wait for the stock "thanks/no thanks" reply)
Positive: Seems to list interesting jobs. But the interface is poor and the offering gets stale very quickly.
Negative: Completely useless site. Have never gotten anything but the stock "this employer is prioritizing conversations with other candidates" reply.

All of the job postings that they list on LinkedIn are "confidential" which essentially becomes clickbait - especially since they relist the same job post daily. Complete waste of time. -

Absolutely useless Date: Jun 09 2022
Summary: The worst job board ever!! I don't know anyone who has looked for a job here and ever gotten anything other than the stock "We're sorry" reply. You don't actually apply for jobs here, you can only state if you're interested or not, but it doesn't matter, you're not getting any kind of follow up or feedback. Don't waste your time here!!
Positive: Nothing. The site is useless. No one ever responds, especially during the free trial, when you're test driving to see if the site us worth subscribing to....it's not!!
Negative: Everything about this job board sucks!
