AWS Global Accelerator Description
AWS Global Accelerator is a service designed to enhance the performance, availability, and security of public-facing applications. It offers two static global public IP addresses that serve as consistent access points to your application endpoints, which can include Application Load Balancers, Network Load Balancers, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) instances, and elastic IPs. By leveraging the robust infrastructure of AWS Global Accelerator, you can direct user traffic through one of the edge locations, thereby optimizing the experience. Users benefit from connecting to your application endpoints via these static IP addresses, allowing for predictable routing that operates independently of DNS. This capability ensures that your applications remain accessible and perform reliably, regardless of user location.
