ARIN Description

ARIN serves as the registry for Internet number resources, encompassing both IPv4 and IPv6 address allocations as well as Autonomous System numbers, within Canada, various Caribbean and North Atlantic Islands, and the United States. Following the guidelines laid out in Section 2.2 of the Number Resource Policy Manual (NRPM), ARIN allocates Internet number resources specifically for its designated region. All the necessary tools and information for requesting and managing resources for your organization can be found through the links provided below. The organization operates through a community-oriented, open, and transparent policy-making process that governs the allocation of Internet number resources. There are numerous ways for individuals to engage and contribute, whether their interests lie in Internet Governance, the development of ARIN policies, or influencing how ARIN meets the needs of its community. By participating, you can help shape the future of Internet resource management in your region.
