2ndLine Description
2ndLine, an Android app, gives you a second number with free calling and messaging. 2ndLine connects to your WiFi or Data connection to add a second line to your phone. Download the app and select a number to get unlimited calling and texting. 2ndLine uses the internet connection on your phone to send and receive text messages and calls in the USA and Canada. To receive your texts and calls, or to send you a message or call, the person you are contacting does not need to be a 2ndLine user. When you sign up for 2ndLine, you will be asked to enter an area code in the US or Canada. Then, you can choose a number from a pool of numbers available in that area code. 2ndLine is limited to numbers within the USA and Canada. If there are no numbers in your area code, we will let you choose the closest number.

Summary: Crappy. They don't know what they doing and don't care. They refuse to put any effort into the app and unlike other apps, refuse to update it, so the problems continue. All these apps seem to be of low quality, but at least other apps are occasionally updated. I would not recommend using this app.
Positive: Does work sometimes but most times cuts off in mid call. When I contacted them, they made the excuse that it was my internet, but I have Verizon Internet with 300 Mbps, which is more than enough! Sometimes it works fine and sometimes it don't.
Negative: Calls constantly drop off, hard to reclaim codes, they are LAZY OR INCOMPETENT and don't want to update the app to fix bugs. App is way overrated.
