2020 Design Live Reviews

Summary: I like it. It's easy to use and it has a lot of options and variety. Has a loot of tools that help me in showing my creativity.

Positive: It helped to show my customers the product fast and that helped in saving our time and it's easy to browse and render and gives a reality-like view of the kitchen.

Negative: It saves our time and pushes the customer to buy and that increases the rate of selling.

Summary: I have only had a couple of weeks of experience with the software but in that time I have enjoyed using it and gotten used to all of the features.

Positive: - Very easy to draw with and create layouts
- Intuitive UI that helps beginners learn how to use the software

Negative: - Found it difficult to find a couple menus to change doorstyles/specific details

Summary: Great if you know the tips and tricks to get your design done. Great way to show customers their finished product.

Positive: - I like how easy it is to update cabinet catalogs
- how easy it is to generate reports
- Like the ability to make quick changes in the attributes section.

Negative: There is definitely a learning curve. Wish the UX was a little better.

Summary: I haven't used 20/20 in about 10 years and I'm amazed how many more options are available. This really provides you the look that you need to show your clients.

Positive: I like that the Cloud Browser is available. Its provides you with a lot more options to choose to provide your client with a good idea on what there project would look like.

Negative: At this time everything is fine. Maybe a few more tutorial videos would help. It would give the opportunity to watch on your own time,

Summary: I am loving my learning with 20/20 and I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with it. I am excited to create new designs.

Positive: I love the in depth video training and the access to real time help if needed. Everyone that I have worked with thus far has been great. Looking forward to learning more about the program.

Negative: Feels a little dated. Some of the graphics appear a little dated but nothing that makes this program not worth having.

Summary: Been using 2020 since 1999, it is nice to see them constantly improving the software. The ease of doing everything now compared to the past, makes it so much easier and faster to generate designs.

Positive: Nice to be able to access all of the necessary catalogs at my fingertips.

Great renderings. Nice that the program can be accessed from multiple computers.

Negative: If you forget to sign out of one computer, you cannot log into another.

Summary: From the moment I started using 2020 Design, it quickly became apparent how practical and user-friendly it is. Positive: I really enjoy how simple and practical it is to use. I'm taking a class and we are learning how to use 2020 Design.

Negative: I think aesthetically the program could use some updates on the home screen and the tabs etc...

Summary: I have been using 2020 for 25 years and love this product. I would recommend this to anyone in the industry.

Positive: I like the ease of use, the simplicity to learn, the training webinars that keep me updated, along with the great customer service anytime I am in need!

Negative: I wish there were more items automatically in the cloud catalog. And that the catalog search was easier.

Summary: I came out of this with so much confidence on using the 20/20 program, I did take the beginner course over 15 years back and have struggled to make my designs look professional! Now I do! Thank you all.

Positive: It was so extremely hands on and so many tips! Our instructor was very patient and knowledgeable. The length of the day was exactly correct and also the size of the class worked great! I came out knowing so much more and the tricks and tips we learned will go far in not only making my designs stunning and professional but also great selling tool as well! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for it!

Negative: Just trying to get on the internet but quickly fixed by HH IT guy.

Summary: 2020 is great CAD software! I highly recommend it. In the short period of time that I've been trained on it I have found that it is fairly user-friendly for those that have experience working with CAD software in general. I enjoy this software so much that I play around with designs on it when I'm off the clock!

Positive: I love how this software allows you to add final touches like furniture, decor, and even dogs! I work from home, and when I design something for my customers it's of the utmost importance that anything they see is of the highest quality, and this software fully allows me accomplish that.

Negative: Sometimes 2020 can be a tad glitchy, but this might be a computer issue. With any software like this, if you don't install it on a computer that can handle it then issues are sure to arise.

Summary: Overall, it's a great software/tool to create various designs in the kitchen/cabinet industry. It allows you to do all the drawings from 2D and 3D. Highly recommend.

Positive: I like how you can easily visualize the drawings from the plan to elevations and renderings. And the variety of catalogs are amazing which opens you to array of options and possibilities in creating cabinet/kitchen designs.

Negative: I am just having a bit of a problems with dimensions.

Summary: Wonderful! While new to this software, only two weeks in, I am live designing in front of clients who are very impressed with me, when really, the credit goes to 2020.

Positive: Easy to use!
The UI is user friendly and customizable to your personal work flow. Saving templates for future reference is an excellent way to get started. When filling in items which your clients may want to see varied colors, you can group items to change all of the groups color at once which is excellent.
Customer service is excellent.
Online trainings are available at your pace.
Good community: Many folks help the community out by posting tips and tricks on youtube.

Negative: Cant seem to find hotkeys to make work ultra efficient.
Bit expensive upfront.

Summary: Overall i like the new Design Live. I use it almost daily and have enjoyed the ease of use, as well as accessibility of cloud items to make the perfect kitchen design.

Positive: Love the textured pictures. They almost look like a picture when i present them to my customers. I also like that you can now do walls at more angles when drawing rooms. That was a huge improvement.

Negative: If i had a complaint it would be only one. Sometimes if my walls are not 100% straight with out realizing they will have a jog, and then my cabinets wont set on them, i have to drag them over from a blank space on the page.

Summary: Excellent experience, continue to use this and the customer service daily. I can't believe how easy it is and the directions are clearly spelt out. If I do not understand how to do something or want to do something better the database of answers is so easy!

Positive: Friendly service, quick and effective responses. You can tell the customer service people were trained to help and enjoy their jobs!

Negative: Intimidating at first but once I got talking to someone, everything went smooth!

Summary: I've had a fantastic experience as a user of 2020. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Positive: I love how user-friendly 2020 is and also how easy it is to get help when I have questions.

Negative: I wish the generic catalogs had more varied size options.
