PAXIT
Midwest Information Systems
PAXIT by Midwest Information Systems is image capture, measurement, and archiving software for Windows labs. Pathology: at the grossing station, PAXIT drives a PAXCAM HD or 4K gross imaging camera in the hood or over the bench, with 30x zoom and up to 30 presets on a three-pedal footswitch, so gloved hands stay on the specimen. Each capture is stamped with case information and a scale bar, filed to the case by accession number, and can go to an export folder your LIS imports from. Pharmaceutical and toxicological pathology labs archive micrographs with optional 21 CFR Part 11 tools: audit trails, electronic signatures, and role-based access. Weld measurement: throat, leg length, and penetration on weld macro cross-sections, with automatic percent penetration and pass or fail. Reports go to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF.
