ArcEdge can be used as a border-leaf in an IP Clos design to deploy distributed applications in data centers. It has full BGP support and is interconnected securely with Amazon AWS (Amazon Web Services), Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Azure) and Google Cloud Platform. ArcEdge can be used to enable a variety network services, such as data proxies and transit hubs with NAT. Container networking is also supported. Access and authentication-based policies are seamlessly integrated with AES-256 encryption, which is always on, for all traffic, along with IAM and security groups. Private data center networks are rapidly evolving, as enterprise applications increasingly move to a mix between private and public clouds. The traditional data center networking model based on IP CloS is not designed to extend into the cloud provider network. This evolution requires a new approach to networking architecture with robust, secure hybrid cloud connectivity.
