Many websites need tasks to run on a schedule – exports, backups, newsletters, cache rebuilds – but shared hosting rarely offers a reliable cron. Cronjob.de solves this from the outside: it calls the URL of your script at the times you choose, from once a year down to every minute. You do not need a server, SSH or access to the crontab.
Creating a job is quick. Paste the cron instructions from your host or plugin, or describe the schedule in a sentence, and the built-in AI prepares the job for you to check and save. AI assistants like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can also manage jobs through an MCP connection.
Each run is recorded with status code, runtime and the beginning of the response. When a job fails, Cronjob.de sends one message per incident and another when it works again, by email, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord or webhook. Website monitoring and SSL expiry warnings are available too.
The service has been operated from Germany since 2003. Data stays on servers in the EU, and business customers receive proper invoices and a GDPR data processing agreement. Five cron jobs are free with no time limit.
