Description
TrustLinq is a platform regulated in Switzerland that facilitates crypto-to-fiat transactions, enabling users to utilize their cryptocurrencies for local fiat payments in over 70 different currencies while allowing these payments to be sent via bank transfer to any recipient, regardless of their acceptance of crypto or the sender's possession of a bank account. The platform accommodates stablecoins like USDT, USDC, and EURC, converting them into fiat currency and utilizing reliable systems such as SWIFT, SEPA, Faster Payments, and ACH to ensure that most business transactions are completed swiftly and can be monitored through a user-friendly dashboard. TrustLinq operates under a self-custodial model, ensuring that users retain control over their wallets while adhering to stringent Swiss regulations on anti-money laundering and data privacy. This service empowers individuals to cover routine expenses, including rent, tuition, travel, and various services directly from their cryptocurrency assets. Furthermore, businesses benefit by being able to settle invoices for suppliers, manage payroll, and cover operational expenses without needing to navigate the traditional banking conversion processes, thereby streamlining their financial activities.
Description
Vaultion addresses a fundamental issue in transactions between unfamiliar parties: the need for one party to take the initial risk. To eliminate this uncertainty, Vaultion utilizes a secure smart contract that holds the payment, ensuring it is only released when all agreed-upon conditions are satisfied.
The process is straightforward: the buyer deposits funds into an escrow using a stablecoin—options include USDC, USDT, DAI, or PYUSD—after which the seller fulfills their part of the agreement. Once the buyer confirms receipt, the payment is released. In the event of a disagreement, the funds remain secure while an independent arbitrator intervenes to make a decision. This arbitrator can either be Kleros, a decentralized court composed of randomly selected jurors, or a human reviewer supported by Vaultion, whose decision is subject to a challenge window before any funds are transferred. Additionally, a guardian with freeze-only authority can halt any dubious ruling without the ability to redirect the funds, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution process. This innovative approach fosters trust and security in transactions that might otherwise be fraught with risk.
