Description

Xsite is an online platform designed for museums, heritage sites, historic homes, parks, and various cultural attractions to craft self-guided tours for their visitors. The platform allows staff to arrange tour stops, integrate pre-existing scripts, audio, images, and videos, and to offer visitors audio, video, or AI-assisted experiences that can be accessed through QR codes, NFC tags, access codes, or links on mobile browsers, without installing an app. Utilizing institution-approved content, the AI guide provides tailored responses, while GPS and indoor routing functionalities assist visitors in navigating through the venue. Tours can be enhanced with multilingual options, offline accessibility, and features like screen-reader compatibility, adjustable text size, and audio descriptions. Organizations have the flexibility to provide either free or paid access to these tours, and select plans offer valuable visitor analytics, covering aspects such as engagement, completion rates, duration of visits, and language preferences. Additionally, Xsite includes a no-cost tier as well as various paid options that come with specific usage limitations based on the number of monthly station views. Overall, Xsite serves as a comprehensive tool for enhancing visitor experiences at cultural sites.
