It replaces manual spreadsheets with automated time logging natively inside Jira. AI-powered suggestions draft timesheets from IDE activity and calendar events (Google Workspace, Office 365). Teams can differentiate billable and non-billable hours, track CapEx/OpEx for accounting compliance, and generate audit-ready records. Custom work attributes capture overtime, travel time, and project phases. Managers review and approve timesheets, build dynamic reports, and measure planned vs. actual effort.
Tempo also offers Rovo agents for Jira – Atlassian's GenAI product – including the Timesheets Worklog Assistant for logging time in natural language, the Timesheets Summary Analyzer, and Time Insights for Jira for time analysis.

Description
TimeControl is a timesheet system that can be used for both finance and project management. TimeControl was designed to serve multiple purposes at once. TimeControl tracks time task-bytask and project-byproject. Despite its project-based controls it is still a financial timesheet that meets all the requirements of payroll, human resource, billing, and finance. TimeControl is available for subscription in the cloud and for purchase for an installation on-premise. It includes both a browser interface as well as the TimeControl Mobile App for iOS or Android.
