Description

SeaVint Carbon is a web-based tool designed for ship operators and managers to facilitate the preparation of calculations for the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS) and FuelEU Maritime. Users can input voyage details and fuel volumes based on bunker delivery notes to compute the associated emissions, necessary EU allowances (EUAs) for surrendering, their respective costs, and the greenhouse-gas intensity as per FuelEU guidelines, along with compliance balances and potential penalties. The calculations consider voyage coverage alongside the 2024–2026 phase-in period for EU ETS, the methane slip from LNG engines, as well as the use of biofuels and renewable fuels of non-biological origin (RFNBOs). Regulatory aspects are directly tied to their corresponding legal articles for easy reference. Teams have the capability to analyze data by individual ship and year or across an entire fleet, and they can export their findings to Excel or CSV formats for verification purposes while also being able to monitor reporting and surrender deadlines with notification reminders. Additionally, all modifications are meticulously documented in an audit log, ensuring transparency and accountability. Notably, the application automatically classifies ships with a gross tonnage below 5,000 as exempt from these regulations.

Description

In today's rapidly evolving environment, the urgency for emissions reduction has become a central focus for companies in the oil, gas, and energy sectors. Enhancing operational efficiency to cut emissions presents the fastest and most cost-effective route to achieving decarbonization while reducing environmental harm. emissionsAI is an innovative cloud-based artificial intelligence (AI) platform designed to help manage complex assets by monitoring, reducing, and controlling operational emissions, optimizing energy consumption, and minimizing ecological effects. It enables users to measure, track, and visualize detailed emissions data, pinpointing individual sources or emitters. The system automatically computes the lowest potential emissions every minute across various operating modes, configurations, or constraints. It also features real-time auto-detection of excess emissions, allowing for immediate identification of underlying causes and the implementation of corrective actions to mitigate emissions while dynamically optimizing energy use. Users can establish structured workflows to effectively manage emissions, ensure compliance with regulations, meet stakeholder expectations, and foster a culture of sustainability within their organizations. This comprehensive approach not only addresses immediate environmental concerns but also positions companies as leaders in the transition to a greener energy future.
