Compare RentalCal vs. Virtual Resort Manager

RentalCal is an online platform designed for independent vacation rental hosts, offering direct booking and calendar management tools. Hosts can create a unique booking page for each of their properties or seamlessly integrate a widget into their current website. Guests have the ability to check availability, request bookings, reserve dates, or make payments via Stripe. The platform connects with popular calendars like Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Google Calendar, and iCal feeds, ensuring conflict detection and offering sync-health notifications; free accounts refresh hourly while Pro accounts update every 15 minutes. The free version accommodates one property, whereas the Pro version allows for up to three properties and includes unlimited booking requests, personalized branding, promotional codes, and support for multiple currencies through Stripe. Additionally, the user-friendly widget is available in several languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, and Portuguese. RentalCal does not impose any booking fees, although standard Stripe processing charges apply. Hosts have the option to invite a co-host or manager with their own login credentials and can either use a hosted RentalCal site or embed the widget on platforms such as WordPress, Squarespace, and Wix. This flexibility makes it easy for hosts to manage their rentals efficiently while providing a streamlined experience for their guests.
