Description
Publishizer serves as both a crowdfunding platform for books and a literary agency, connecting authors with potential publishers. To begin, authors create proposals for their books, while readers can pre-order copies, and publishers may indicate their interest in reaching out to authors. The process kicks off when authors pitch their book idea and activate their accounts, allowing them to draft each section of the proposal with guidance throughout the submission process. After the Publishizer team approves the submission, authors can log in to manually launch their pre-order campaign. It is the authors' responsibility to promote their campaigns through their email contacts, social media platforms, and professional networks to maximize pre-order sales. In addition, campaigns that gain traction are highlighted to the Publishizer audience through Reader's Picks, a curated weekly list of the most sought-after books. At the conclusion of the pre-order phase, Publishizer reaches out to publishers based on various factors, including the book's category, the quality of the proposal, and the number of pre-order copies sold. This comprehensive approach not only aids authors in funding their projects but also enhances their visibility to publishers. Ultimately, Publishizer aims to create a thriving ecosystem for both writers and readers alike.
Description
The Proposal Development module allows for collaborative development of a proposal. It also collects data and attachments required for reporting, approvals, and tracking. A development proposal can be edited simultaneously by up to three people: one in budget, where detailed and modular budgets can built using your rates, object codes, one uploading, editing attachments and one in the rest of the proposal record, where details about project personnel, compliance details and other summary data can all be entered. This information can be used to support all submissions as well as internal processes. It can also serve double duty through Grants.gov's System-to-System submission capabilities. The Institutional Proposal module creates a versioned master record of the proposal. When a development proposal has been finalized, an Institutional Proposal module is automatically created.
