Description
ProGuard: An Open Source Optimizer for Java and Kotlin. Widely regarded as the leading optimizer for Java bytecode, ProGuard also offers a layer of defense against reverse engineering by obscuring the identities of classes, fields, and methods. By doing so, it significantly decreases the download and startup time for Android apps, enhancing their overall performance on mobile devices. Additionally, ProGuard not only obfuscates Java applications but also pre-verifies the modified code for Java Micro Edition and versions 6 and above. This tool effectively optimizes and obfuscates Java applications intended for cell phones, Blu-ray players, set-top boxes, and other resource-limited devices. Fully compatible with both Java and Kotlin, ProGuard allows developers to harness the full potential of these programming languages without compromising on performance or security. It operates primarily as a command-line tool, although a graphical user interface is available for added convenience. ProGuard is impressively efficient, capable of processing small Android applications and entire runtime libraries in just a matter of seconds, making it an essential tool for developers. Its capabilities ensure that applications remain both optimized and secure, providing a seamless experience for users.
Description
Tech Guarding Hub along with TechGuard offers a streamlined solution for UK security firms, facilitating a seamless transition from the onboarding of guards to documented field operations, eliminating the need to piece together various generic forms, spreadsheets, and individual patrol tools. The Hub delivers a comprehensive onboarding process, allows for the secure collection of documents, implements BS 7858 screening workflows, and maintains review controls along with workforce records, ensuring an auditable trail of decisions made. Organizations have the flexibility to conduct their own evaluations or opt for a managed review service. Once a guard requires access to operational functions, the organization can allocate a TechGuard seat, which includes functionalities for tracking shifts, clocking in and out, monitoring patrol checkpoints, documenting incident reports, and recording photographic and video evidence, in addition to managing timesheets and offline tasks, along with panic and welfare protocols. Managers and authorized users from the ARC have the capability to assess the operational activities that have been submitted. It's important to note that Hub membership and TechGuard seats operate independently, granting organizations the ability to provide field-app access exclusively to those who truly require it, thereby enhancing security and operational efficiency. This strategic approach not only simplifies the management process but also ensures that all activities are meticulously documented and easily accessible for review.

Pricing Details
£12/month
Tech Guarding publishes every standard price — no quote required.
Organisation platform — £12.00 per month. One flat fee for the organisation workspace, including unlimited Hub users. Office staff, managers and reviewers do not consume a licence. Includes a seven-day trial.
Guard verification — one-time, per guard. £27.50 where the organisation's own reviewers make the screening decision, or £37.50 where Tech Guarding performs the human review. Charged only when a guard is actually verified.
TechGuard app seat — £6.99 per month, per enabled user. Assigned only to officers who need the field app for shifts, patrols, proof capture and incident reporting. The first five seats are free for the whole trial, and seats are never charged automatically — an organisation buys them deliberately.
All prices include VAT. Because unlimited Hub users are covered by the platform fee, the monthly cost tracks the number of officers actually deployed in the field rather than total headcount.
