OwlCAD is a fully online parametric 3D CAD editing tool designed specifically for individuals creating parts for 3D printing. With OwlCAD, every dimension remains adjustable, allowing for seamless model updates whenever a value is modified, which eliminates the need for redoing work. Furthermore, it offers clearance presets tailored for press, slip, and loose fits, ensuring that holes are appropriately sized for FDM printing, while a printability check highlights overhangs, flags thin walls, and verifies watertightness before export.
OwlCAD boasts features such as sketches with constraints, per-edge fillets and chamfers, patterns, sweeps, and lofts, in addition to assemblies that include mates and a bill of materials. It also provides 32 different generators for various components like gears, threads, enclosures, Gridfinity bins, bearings, and hinges. The software supports the import of STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, and OpenSCAD formats, while also allowing for the export of STL, 3MF, OBJ, GLB, STEP, DXF, and SVG files.
