Description

NVIDIA Isaac Sim is a free and open-source robotics simulation tool that operates on the NVIDIA Omniverse platform, allowing developers to create, simulate, evaluate, and train AI-powered robots within highly realistic virtual settings. Utilizing Universal Scene Description (OpenUSD), it provides extensive customization options, enabling users to build tailored simulators or to incorporate the functionalities of Isaac Sim into their existing validation frameworks effortlessly. Description

dSPACE provides a virtual software validation platform that enables engineers to efficiently simulate, test, and validate embedded software systems in a fully virtual setting prior to the existence of physical hardware, thus significantly speeding up development timelines and minimizing the time required to bring products to market. Through the dSPACE SIL solution, users can either generate or import their system under test code, link it with plant, environment, and restbus models, and perform extensive testing on a PC or within cloud-based simulations, allowing for scalable and automated validation across separate software units, ECU integrations, entire system functions, and intricate network interactions without the need for actual hardware. This solution enhances the flexibility of test artifact and scenario reuse between SIL and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) setups, boasts an open architecture that allows for integration with various third-party tools, and provides robust features for the planning, execution, and automation of test campaigns, thereby streamlining the entire validation process. In addition to its comprehensive testing capabilities, dSPACE also focuses on improving collaboration among teams by simplifying the sharing of test results and insights, which ultimately leads to a more efficient development cycle.
