ManageEngine's Endpoint Central, formerly Desktop Central, is a Unified Endpoint Management Solution that manages enterprise mobility management, including all features of mobile app management and mobile device management, as well as client management for a wide range of endpoints such as mobile devices, laptops computers, tablets, servers, and other machines. ManageEngine Endpoint Central allows users to automate their desktop management tasks such as installing software, patching, managing IT assets, imaging, and deploying OS.
Description
TridentStack Control is an endpoint management platform that combines patching, vulnerability scanning, compliance automation, and policy management in a single product. It helps organizations manage operating system updates across Windows, macOS, and Linux while also handling third-party application patches and security metadata. The software uses a lightweight agent to report software inventory, OS update history, package manager state, listening ports, firewall status, and endpoint compliance data. IT teams can use deployment rings, approval workflows, applicability filtering, supersedence tracking, and pre-staging to roll out updates in controlled phases. TridentStack Control also scans software inventories against an enriched CVE catalog, assigns severity using CVSS scores, and presents fleet-wide vulnerability dashboards. Its network exposure monitoring gives teams visibility into listening ports, exposed services, process details, firewall correlation, risk levels, and port history. The platform includes policy management that works without Active Directory, allowing administrators to deploy configuration settings directly through the agent. Compliance features evaluate endpoints against CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGs, Microsoft Security Baselines, and NIST framework controls with scores, trends, audit trails, and remediation guidance.
