Compare Label LIVE vs. LabelRight

Label LIVE is the easiest to use label printer app for designing and printing labels. You can print barcodes and address labels, shelf tags, inventory labels, and many other jobs using Label LIVE. Use your Mac or Windows 10 desktop computer to work with thermal label printers from mydpi, Brother, DYMO and Zebra. Label LIVE generates PDFs that can be sent to any printer that is installed using a driver. This means you can send complex print jobs to inkjet and laser printers, too. Need to import spreadsheet data? Label LIVE can import Excel, Numbers or CSV files with a few clicks.

LabelRight is an application designed for Shopify that enables users to generate and print barcode and price labels for their retail merchandise directly from the Shopify admin interface or the Shopify POS system. With its intuitive drag-and-drop designer, merchants can effortlessly incorporate product information into customizable templates and generate labels in PDF format. The app supports various label stock options, such as Avery 5160, 5167, and 22806 sheets, Dymo 30252 and 30334 rolls, as well as Zebra rolls measuring 2.25 x 1.25 inches and 2 x 1 inch. A range of barcode formats is available, including Code 128, Code 39, EAN-13, UPC-A, ITF-14, QR codes, and Data Matrix. Features like printer calibration and a start-slot offset assist in aligning labels properly and allow for the reuse of partially used Avery sheets, both of which are part of the free plan. Additionally, both the free and Pro plans facilitate printing from POS systems. The free tier permits the creation of up to 100 labels monthly and offers one template, while the Pro plan enhances functionality with unlimited labels and templates, the option for custom sizes (including circular labels), the ability to include product metafields on labels, and support for CSV bulk imports. Importantly, the app operates on a read-only basis to ensure that no changes are made to product listings. It is particularly beneficial for retailers who need to label various items, including products, shelves, or bins, making it suitable for diverse businesses such as boutiques, grocery stores, hardware shops, and resale outlets. By streamlining the labeling process, LabelRight helps retailers enhance their operational efficiency and improve inventory management.
