PixIntel is an online tool designed to assist home inspectors and their firms in creating detailed inspection reports. Inspectors can upload photos from their jobs, and the software intelligently categorizes these images into specific findings; notably, around 75% of the photos included in a typical report are associated with findings that contain multiple images. For each categorized group, the tool offers up to three ranked narrative drafts along with confidence scores, utilizing a model that has been developed from analyzing 228 inspection reports and 6,201 findings. Additionally, GPS data provides the location details, which can be verified against state parcel records in New Jersey. The system automatically incorporates weather information relevant to the inspection date and location, resulting in a nearly complete draft of the report. Inspectors also have the capability to import and search their previous reports, make edits to comments, arrange photos and sections of the report, and adapt text to fit their company's established style. Findings must be approved by reviewers prior to finalizing the reports. Once completed, these reports can be exported as PDFs or shared via a link with clients and agents.
