Description
The IVFID system serves as a cutting-edge security measure tailored for IVF clinics, ensuring accurate matching and verification of sperm, oocyte, and embryo samples throughout the entire IVF treatment journey. By utilizing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, it meticulously monitors and authenticates samples at each critical phase, including sperm and oocyte collection, tracking, Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), embryo transfer, and cryopreservation processes. At the start of their treatment, patients are provided with wristbands embedded with RFID chips, while all consumables, such as test tubes and cryotopes, are equipped with disposable RFID tags that feature the names and patient numbers of both the patient and their partner. The system operates wirelessly to confirm all actions performed in laboratory and surgical environments, capturing comprehensive operational data, including the names of procedures, involved personnel, time and date, and exact location of the processes. In order to safeguard against sample discrepancies, the system automatically engages a locking mechanism to prevent any unauthorized access or errors. This innovative approach not only enhances security but also instills greater confidence in patients undergoing IVF treatments.
Description
Seamless integration into the current architecture ensures that image data and documents are readily accessible for all colleagues involved in patient care, regardless of the applications in use. Patients can easily digitize their documents via their smartphones, which are then promptly saved in their electronic medical records. User login is simplified through the use of barcode or RFID technology on shared devices, while direct patient identification is facilitated by barcode scanning. The system incorporates automatic document recognition and perspective correction, along with an intuitive interface for any necessary manual adjustments. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology enables the automatic detection of text, making it easier to locate specific passages. Documents can be swiftly classified with the aid of a dynamic hit list, and they are automatically uploaded to the patient record through HL7-MDM messaging. To maximize the versatility of mobile photo documentation, the results are transmitted in mere seconds to the associated image archives and information systems connected to imito, ensuring a streamlined workflow that enhances efficiency in patient care. Additionally, this integration supports a more collaborative environment among healthcare professionals, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.
