Description
To enhance educational information technology, school administrators are looking to implement the OS-Easy cloud desktop (E-VDI) in their newly constructed computer lab. By moving away from conventional PCs, they aim to achieve centralized management of computer desktops, which can lead to significant savings in maintenance, investment, and energy consumption. At the Fourth Middle School, they plan to set up 80 OS-Easy E-VDI cloud desktops in the classroom, utilizing all-in-one (AIO) devices as terminals. The deployment will include Windows 7 teaching desktops, essential software, and the OS-Easy Interactive Teaching System installed on a server, with a dedicated teaching PC functioning as the main console for interactive instruction. In this E-VDI system, terminal devices serve solely to display the desktop interface and relay keyboard and mouse inputs, while all data is securely stored on servers, enabling centralized and big data management. As a result, the actual operation of the desktops occurs on the servers, which allows for streamlined maintenance of all thin AIO terminals through server management. This innovative approach not only enhances the teaching experience but also paves the way for future technological advancements in educational settings.
