Compare HorseBook App vs. The Equestrian App

HorseBook is a comprehensive application designed for the management of horses, catering to owners, breeders, stallion stations, breeding farms, and boarding facilities. This app efficiently organizes essential information such as horse health data, veterinary records, Coggins tests, registration documents, and financial tracking for expenses, along with reminders for care and key contacts. It also includes records pertaining to mare breeding, covering everything from heat cycles to foaling. Users have the convenience of capturing images of documents to maintain records and can manage their horses and schedules seamlessly through the iPhone and iPad apps or via a web browser interface. The Business plan enhances functionality by allowing stallion-season bookings, facilitating online contracts for mare owners, managing frozen-semen inventories by tank, canister, and cane, as well as nitrogen refill logs and reminders. Additionally, it provides monthly statements for various costs, including board, mare care, stud fees, and veterinary and farrier expenses. Furthermore, HorseBook offers the ability to import existing herds from CRIO exports or spreadsheets, ensuring a smooth transition for users. This makes HorseBook an invaluable tool for anyone involved in horse management, streamlining processes and improving organization.

The Equestrian focuses on fostering connections between individuals and horses to improve the overall health and well-being of these animals. Upon immersing ourselves in the equestrian culture, we discovered a vast network of people dedicated to the care of our horses. Initially developed to meet our own needs, our app quickly attracted interest from friends who wanted to benefit from it as well. Today, it is accessible to anyone involved in the equine community. We recognize that caring for a horse is often a collective effort that includes a variety of equine professionals. With our app, you can link your friends, trainers, veterinarians, farriers, boarders, and other service providers directly to your horse’s journal, ensuring they remain informed about your horse's status and needs. Our mission is to cultivate a genuine connection among all those involved in the care and enjoyment of horses, which is why we have made the app completely free for users. This initiative benefits riders, horse owners, and businesses in the equine sector. Although we have sponsors that assist in covering the app's expenses, we strive to maintain a user-friendly experience that feels seamless and integral to the app itself. Our commitment to the equestrian community is unwavering, as we believe everyone should have access to tools that enhance their equine experience.
