Description
Grengin is an enterprise-grade AI platform that is open-source and self-hosted, allowing organizations to access LLMs from multiple providers while maintaining data privacy by avoiding third-party SaaS. The platform features capabilities such as departmental budgeting, role-specific permissions, integration with MCP tools, semantic search of conversation history, and a comprehensive admin dashboard, all deployable through a cloud marketplace image that comes equipped with ready-to-use OAuth/SSO or can be installed with a simple command.
Administrators benefit from meticulous control over AI provider and model access, can define budgets for different departments, manage MCP tool servers, and establish role-based permissions tailored to either the organization as a whole or individual departments. In addition, the platform is equipped with tamper-proof audit logs, detailed usage analytics categorized by user, department, and model, SSO support through Google and Azure AD, the ability to customize branding, and desktop applications compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, with mobile applications on the horizon. As a project that embraces open-source principles, it is available on GitHub and encourages contributions from the community, fostering collaborative development and innovation. Moreover, Grengin aims to empower organizations by providing them with a robust and flexible AI infrastructure that aligns with their specific needs.
Description
OpenFGA serves as an open-source authorization framework that empowers developers to create detailed access control systems through an intuitive modeling language and API interfaces. Drawing inspiration from Google's Zanzibar paper, it accommodates a variety of access control methodologies, including Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC). The solution provides software development kits (SDKs) for several programming languages, including Java, .NET, JavaScript, Go, and Python, which enhances its adaptability for various applications. Designed for optimal performance, OpenFGA can execute authorization checks in mere milliseconds, making it ideal for both emerging startups and well-established enterprises. As a sandbox project under the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF), OpenFGA is committed to fostering transparency and community engagement, encouraging developers to participate in its ongoing development and governance. This collaborative approach not only enriches the project but also ensures that it evolves to meet the changing needs of its users.
