Description

Glasshand offers a cloud-based service that enables AI agents to control dedicated physical iPhones and Macs via an API and device manager. Users have the option to rent a device, observe its display, and allow an agent to interact with applications and desktop environments through tapping, typing, or clicking. This service is particularly tailored for developers and teams leveraging AI agents for operations that rely on Apple's hardware and application ecosystem, such as installing and using mobile applications, managing tasks based on user accounts, overseeing social media activities, and developing or testing native applications with Xcode on a cloud-hosted Mac. iPhones within the service utilize an eSIM for cellular connectivity and SMS verification purposes. Each device is exclusively assigned to a single customer during the rental period, maintaining its configuration between tasks and undergoing erasure and resetting once returned. Monthly rental fees apply and can be terminated at any moment, with the device remaining accessible throughout the current billing cycle. Additionally, the flexibility of canceling enables users to adapt their service usage according to their evolving needs.

Description

MacDuty offers dedicated Mac mini servers from its facilities in Romania, located within the European Union. Each server is entirely dedicated to a single customer, ensuring that there are no virtual machines or shared hardware involved. Their server lineup spans every generation of Apple silicon, from the M1 to the anticipated 2026 M6 and M5 Pro, featuring a total of 84 different configurations. Upon arrival, each machine comes with a fresh macOS installation that can be accessed via SSH or screen sharing within minutes, and they include both public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. Customers can choose from daily, monthly, or yearly billing options, with no additional setup fees or long-term commitments required beyond the 24-hour minimum mandated by Apple. Opting for an annual payment can result in a 20% discount, and users benefit from unlimited power consumption along with 10 TB of included traffic. Through the client portal, users have the ability to reboot their machines, reset passwords, manage SSH keys, and perform macOS reinstallations independently, providing a high degree of flexibility. There are no restrictions on using personal Apple accounts or maintaining private backups, and any hardware failures are addressed promptly, with same-day replacements. Common applications for these servers include continuous integration runners for Xcode and GitHub Actions, persistent development environments compatible with Windows or Linux, and support for local language models and AI agents. This versatility makes MacDuty an appealing choice for developers and businesses alike.
