Description
Flux is a browser-based electronic design automation (EDA) platform for designing printed circuit boards. It brings schematic capture, PCB layout, simulation, routing, and design rule checks into a shared online workspace.
Its AI hardware design assistant helps turn plain-language circuit requirements into schematics, research components, place parts, route traces, and review designs. Engineers can edit the results, define design constraints, and review the board before manufacturing.
Multiple users can work on the same design in real time, leave comments, and manage project permissions. Reusable community circuits and component libraries help teams start new designs, while live component pricing and availability support part selection.
Flux exports Gerber, bill of materials (BOM), and pick-and-place files. It accepts Altium ASCII and Cadence EDIF schematics and KiCad component libraries. These imports do not include PCB layouts.
Flux is used by electronics engineers, hardware startups, and product teams. A trial includes limited AI usage; after the trial, a paid plan is required to edit or export private projects and use AI. Public-project and community access remain available.
Description
SpeedUp eliminates the monotonous process of creating circuit schematics by allowing you to simply describe your product's requirements and upload relevant component datasheets, with the AI managing everything else — from generating an organized block diagram to designing each module's schematic and conducting electrical rule checks. You have the opportunity to review and adjust the block diagram, ensuring you maintain oversight while avoiding the strenuous workload. Once the design is complete, you can effortlessly export a full KiCad project with a single click. SpeedUp is ideal for both seasoned hardware engineers eager to accelerate their prototyping efforts and makers aspiring to transform their innovative ideas into reality, reducing the timeline from concept to schematic from several weeks to mere minutes. Additionally, this streamlined process fosters creativity and efficiency, enabling users to focus on refining their ideas rather than getting bogged down in technical details.
