Description

The adjustments made to materials, lighting, or any other scene elements are instantly reflected in real-time within the viewport, enhancing both the speed and enjoyment of your workflow. FluidRay stands out as the sole interactive renderer free from GPU constraints. While GPU-based renderers perform well for particular tasks, FluidRay adeptly handles all operations swiftly and efficiently. Using FluidRay feels seamless, and its highly intuitive interactive workflow allows anyone to become proficient in just a few minutes. With FluidRay, you can rapidly produce visually impressive previews for architectural designs, interior layouts, jewelry creations, and a variety of other projects. The interactive rendering feature transforms the design of products and environments into a simple and enjoyable experience. Additionally, FluidRay simplifies the process of quickly prototyping your ideas and generating exceptionally high-quality preview images. Moreover, FluidRay’s integration with Rhino allows designers to effortlessly create 3D models in Rhino and import them into FluidRay with ease, streamlining the entire design process even further. The combination of these features makes FluidRay a powerful tool for creative professionals.

Description

MFiX, which stands for Multiphase Flow with Interphase eXchanges, serves as an open-source solver designed for multiphase flow and is recognized as NETL’s primary suite of computational fluid dynamics tools for simulating reacting multiphase flows. It has established itself as a benchmark for the comparison, implementation, and assessment of constitutive models in multiphase flow scenarios and has been utilized across a wide variety of multiphase flow devices and industrial applications. Offering various modeling techniques, MFiX includes the Two-Fluid Model, Discrete Element Model, Coarse-Grained Particle DEM, Superquadric Particle DEM, Glued-Sphere Particle DEM, Particle-in-Cell model, hybrid approaches, and a dedicated single-phase solver tailored for granular flows. These advanced models enable the simulation of numerous systems such as gasifiers, circulating fluidized bed combustors, fluidized beds, fluid catalytic crackers, and chemical looping combustion systems, addressing complex interactions involving hydrodynamics, heat transfer, species transport, and various chemical reactions. As a result, MFiX contributes significantly to the understanding and optimization of these intricate processes in both research and industrial settings.
