Sysgem Self-Service Password Reset comprises three essential components that need to be deployed; the primary service is generally installed on the domain controller, the web enrollment interface can be set up on any IIS server within the domain, and the client application must be placed on all user workstations to facilitate on-demand password resets. The Domain Controller operates a Windows Service responsible for executing password resets for users, while also maintaining a database of personalized security questions and answers created by the users, which are utilized to authenticate individuals requesting password resets.
