Description
UrBudget is a budgeting application that follows a zero-based envelope method, specifically tailored for both Windows and macOS users, including individuals and families. This app allows users to allocate their income into various categories, monitor their expenditures, adjust funds when financial plans shift, and roll over any unused amounts to future budgets. It features targets to assist with planning for sporadic expenses, while ensuring that credit card transactions are strictly for repayment purposes. Users have the option to manually input transactions or to upload data from CSV, OFX, QFX, or QIF files, with the capability to review incoming data and eliminate duplicates. Additionally, SimpleFIN Bridge enables synchronization with bank accounts in both the US and Canada. For those transitioning from YNAB, the app supports the importation of accounts, transactions, categories, and targets seamlessly. It also provides comprehensive reports, a loan planner, and an optional assistant to address budget inquiries, manage overspending, and recognize receipts, with any suggested adjustments requiring user consent. Users' budgets are kept locally, but there is an option for encrypted sync between devices for added security. The application offers a 30-day trial period before requiring a one-time license fee for continued use, with synchronization services billed independently. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, UrBudget aims to simplify the budgeting process for its users and promote financial awareness.
