SalesRepFielder is an effective commission management tool designed for QuickBooks Online that analyzes your invoices along with the transferred sales-rep field, applies your specified commission guidelines, generates detailed statements for each representative, and seamlessly integrates the necessary journal entries into your accounting records. This software is particularly advantageous for bookkeepers, accounting firms, and small businesses utilizing QBO.
THE ISSUE. One significant drawback of QuickBooks Online is the absence of a Sales by Rep report. For those who transitioned from the Desktop version, the conversion process resulted in the REP field being transferred as a custom dropdown with only initials, which remains unlinked to any employee records. As a workaround, many users resort to a monthly commission spreadsheet that tends to be overlooked during audits.
