Description
Image exchange via FTP, VPN, and CD is a problem for imaging centers today. It reduces their efficiency and makes it harder to compete with companies who have changed their image exchange model. The PACS & Teleradiology solutions by EthosMed allow users to consolidate, share and exchange images with providers in real-time. This results in faster turnaround times for studies, less manual effort for providers and better patient experience. You can host locally on Amazon S3, Google Cloud, or both. You don't have to be tied to one service provider or platform. PACS users don't have to wait for a specific workstation to be used. The Web-based mode of PACS makes any computer a viewing platform. International standards like DICOM 3.0 are met for communication with medical equipment. The security subsystem is compliant with HIPAA guidelines. The embedded zero footprint viewer is included in the solution and does not require any downloads, installations or plugins.
Description
Skia is a specialized platform for radiology reporting designed for groups and teleradiology services that prioritize high-quality results without sacrificing efficiency. Unlike traditional methods, SkiaQA meticulously reviews each report prior to submission, ensuring it identifies issues such as laterality discrepancies, incorrect or absent comparison dates, contradictions within the report, mismatches between findings and impressions, critical findings that may be overlooked, and incomplete sections, all within mere seconds. Additionally, SkiaReporter revolutionizes the reporting process by eliminating the need for dictation and correction phases; radiologists can simply click on findings, allowing the report to automatically generate in precise clinical language, with impressions derived directly from those selections, ensuring accuracy without speculation or errors. Early implementations indicate that reporting speeds have increased by 30 to 40%, with a remarkable 70 to 90% of impressions generated automatically. Furthermore, SkiaManager facilitates seamless coordination by managing worklist synchronization, automatic assignment based on modality and subspecialty, alerts for critical findings, context from prior studies, and direct submission to PACS. Importantly, Skia maintains strict privacy protocols, as no patient data is stored or transmitted outside your PACS system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. This innovation not only enhances workflow efficiency but also significantly reduces the likelihood of errors in radiology reporting.
