Description
DeviceShelf provides a comprehensive mapping of your local network, ensuring that the entire map is stored securely on your own device. A single scan reveals detailed information about each device that responds, including vendor information, hostname, operating system, and device type, along with insights into open ports and their implications for security.
It simultaneously scans all adapters, identifies devices using MAC OUI, DNS, mDNS/Bonjour, NetBIOS, TTL, and DHCP fingerprints, and enumerates open TCP and UDP ports while detecting services, culminating in a prioritized security report that highlights exposed services like Telnet, RDP, ADB, Docker API, or Redis, along with information about default credentials, weak TLS configurations, and known CVEs, each accompanied by recommended fixes and risk scores ranging from 0 to 100. In addition, it continuously monitors network activity, tracking when devices connect or disconnect and providing real-time metrics on uptime, latency, and bandwidth usage for every device connected to the network.
There’s no need for an account, as DeviceShelf operates without telemetry or cloud synchronization, ensuring that scan results remain confined to the originating computer; moreover, its optional AI assistant can function using either your own API key or a local model. Furthermore, a single license grants access to desktop, mobile, and a 24/7 server edition, making it a versatile solution for network management.
Description
As companies increasingly balance their workloads between on-premises networks and cloud services, they inadvertently introduce new vulnerabilities due to the complexity and breadth of their attack surfaces. Achieving compliance and securing a hybrid network becomes exceedingly difficult without comprehensive, real-time visibility into every device, workload, and connection. FireMon Lumeta offers a solution that delivers real-time monitoring of hybrid cloud environments, effectively identifying anomalies, potential threats, and compliance breaches. The system continuously scans and maps the entire network infrastructure, encompassing all devices and connections such as firewalls, routers, endpoints, and cloud components. By employing sophisticated behavioral detection methods, Lumeta establishes a baseline of normal network activity and promptly alerts security teams when it identifies any suspicious behavior or compliance issues. This capability ensures that organizations maintain a complete and accurate inventory of all network routes and appliances, facilitating proactive security measures. Ultimately, FireMon Lumeta empowers organizations to safeguard their networks against evolving threats while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
