Description
DeviceShelf provides a comprehensive mapping of your local network, ensuring that the entire map is stored securely on your own device. A single scan reveals detailed information about each device that responds, including vendor information, hostname, operating system, and device type, along with insights into open ports and their implications for security.
It simultaneously scans all adapters, identifies devices using MAC OUI, DNS, mDNS/Bonjour, NetBIOS, TTL, and DHCP fingerprints, and enumerates open TCP and UDP ports while detecting services, culminating in a prioritized security report that highlights exposed services like Telnet, RDP, ADB, Docker API, or Redis, along with information about default credentials, weak TLS configurations, and known CVEs, each accompanied by recommended fixes and risk scores ranging from 0 to 100. In addition, it continuously monitors network activity, tracking when devices connect or disconnect and providing real-time metrics on uptime, latency, and bandwidth usage for every device connected to the network.
There’s no need for an account, as DeviceShelf operates without telemetry or cloud synchronization, ensuring that scan results remain confined to the originating computer; moreover, its optional AI assistant can function using either your own API key or a local model. Furthermore, a single license grants access to desktop, mobile, and a 24/7 server edition, making it a versatile solution for network management.
Description
Free IP Scanner is an efficient tool designed for rapid IP and port scanning, catering to both network administrators and everyday users who need to oversee and manage their networks effectively. Utilizing advanced multi-thread scanning technology, this application can efficiently check hundreds of computers every second. It works by pinging each IP address to determine its status and can also resolve hostnames and scan ports if needed. Additionally, Free IP Scanner provides detailed NetBIOS information, including the host name, workgroup, current logged-in user, and MAC address. Users have the option to export the gathered data into a plain text file for easy access and analysis. The software is particularly beneficial for administrators, as it allows for customizable scanning configurations, including priority levels and the maximum number of threads. Users can specify a range of IP addresses by entering the first and last IPs, and the program will seamlessly handle scenarios where the last IP address is numerically lower than the first, illustrating its flexibility and user-friendly design. This makes Free IP Scanner a versatile tool for anyone needing to monitor network assets efficiently.
