Description

Cut3D serves as a specialized toolpath generator for CNC machining, tailored for 3D models crafted in software like AutoCAD, Rhino3D, and 3D Studio, or those obtained through laser or touch probe scanning. Its user-friendly interface guides you seamlessly through various stages, including model loading, size adjustments, tab placement to secure the workpiece, and the generation of roughing and finishing toolpaths, whether single, double, or four-sided. After calculating these paths, you can preview the outcome and then save the generated CNC code for operation on your machinery. For 3D models that exceed the machining capabilities due to constraints like gantry height or cutter length, Cut3D offers the option to 'slice' them into manageable sections that can be individually machined and later assembled into the final product. The software also boasts robust import filters compatible with most industry-standard mesh file formats, ensuring versatility in model handling, and includes standard postprocessors that cater to nearly all CNC machine control systems. This comprehensive support makes Cut3D a valuable asset for those looking to efficiently execute intricate machining tasks.

Description

FreeMILL is a complimentary milling module that operates as part of our commercial CNC software, designed specifically for programming CNC mills and routers. This entirely free CAM software imposes no restrictions regarding time limits, the number of attempts, saving capabilities, or lines of code! Users can create toolpaths where the cutting tool moves along a series of parallel planes to shape their desired geometry. Additionally, it allows the generation of both Roughing and Finishing toolpaths, and provides full simulation capabilities for cutting and material processes. Outputting G-code for your selected CNC milling machine is also part of its features. MecSoft Corporation, founded in 1997, is a pioneering developer of both standalone and integrated CAD/CAM software solutions catering to the subtractive (CNC machining) and additive (3D printing) manufacturing sectors. Headquartered in Irvine, CA, MecSoft is committed to creating easy-to-use, robust, and cost-effective CAD/CAM software solutions that meet the diverse needs of our users. Their dedication to innovation ensures that customers receive top-notch support and continuously updated technology.
