Description
CosmWasm represents an innovative smart contracting platform designed specifically for the Cosmos ecosystem. For those who may not be familiar with it, this documentation aims to provide an in-depth exploration of the technology, catering to developers interested in experimenting with or incorporating it into their projects. The focus is particularly on Go developers experienced with the Cosmos SDK, as well as Rust developers in search of a blockchain solution. As a module that seamlessly integrates with the Cosmos SDK, CosmWasm enables anyone developing a blockchain with this framework to effortlessly incorporate smart contract functionality into their chain without needing to modify existing logic. Additionally, we offer a sample binary, known as wasmd, which features CosmWasm integrated into the gaiad binary, allowing you to effortlessly launch a new blockchain equipped with smart contracts right from the start, utilizing well-documented, tested tools and the same security protocols as those employed by the Cosmos Hub. This ease of setup encourages more developers to join the ecosystem and leverage the powerful capabilities of smart contracts.
Description
Cosmos is an AI-powered software engineering orchestration platform developed by Augment Code to manage autonomous agents throughout the software development lifecycle. It enables organizations to create automated workflows that coordinate coding, testing, code review, deployment preparation, and incident response activities. The platform uses specialized agents called Experts, which can be configured with specific responsibilities, tools, execution environments, and organizational knowledge. Its Context Engine analyzes software repositories to provide agents with relevant information about application architecture, code relationships, and implementation patterns. Cosmos supports event-driven execution through triggers such as pull requests, issue updates, monitoring alerts, scheduled events, and webhooks. Engineering teams can configure workflows that investigate development tickets, implement code changes, execute verification steps, and prepare pull requests for review. The system maintains shared memory across agents and workflows, allowing information from previous executions to inform subsequent tasks. Security and governance features include isolated execution environments, scoped credentials, role-based access controls, audit logs, and human approval requirements. Cosmos connects with development and collaboration platforms including GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Linear, Slack, and Microsoft Teams to support automated engineering processes.
