Description
Coral is a developer-focused data access platform that lets teams query different tools and systems with SQL instead of writing custom connectors. It converts APIs, databases, files, and software platforms into readonly schemas that agents and humans can inspect, join, and analyze. Users can connect sources such as GitHub, GitLab, Slack, Linear, Datadog, Sentry, OpenTelemetry, Intercom, Stripe, and incident management tools. Once connected, Coral makes those sources available as tables, allowing cross-system questions to be answered through standard SQL. The platform is designed for AI agent workloads, giving coding agents and operational assistants access to structured context without unsafe write access. Coral works through the command line and over MCP, so multiple agents can share one runtime. It includes query pushdown, caching, pagination handling, schema hints, recommended joins, and relationship learning based on usage patterns. These capabilities help reduce expensive tool loops and improve the quality of agent-generated answers. Coral gives teams a practical way to make scattered operational data accessible, queryable, and useful for engineering, SRE, security, support, and internal operations.
Description
HumanLayer is an open-source AI coding agent management and orchestration platform designed to help engineering teams coordinate autonomous software development workflows. The software combines a multiplayer coding workspace, persistent task management, agent session monitoring, and collaborative development artifacts in a unified environment. Its structured Research, Plan, and Implement methodology helps AI agents gather requirements, investigate codebases, design solutions, and execute programming tasks through defined checkpoints. Developers can create tasks from natural language descriptions or connected project management systems such as Linear and Jira. HumanLayer organizes agent sessions, research documents, implementation plans, code diffs, and Git worktrees within shared task workspaces accessible to multiple team members. Its collaborative review features allow engineers to comment directly on technical design documents and provide feedback that AI agents can incorporate before writing code. The platform supports parallel execution of multiple coding agents across local machines and remote cloud workers, with synchronized sessions and persistent background execution. Detailed session monitoring provides visibility into agent reasoning, tool calls, subagent activities, file modifications, and implementation progress. HumanLayer integrates with Claude Code, Codex, GitHub, Linear, Jira, and Slack, while offering an Apache 2.0 licensed codebase and self-hosted deployment options for organizations developing automated software engineering systems.
