Description

CookieCrumbs is an AI-driven consent management platform based in the EU, specifically designed for developers and businesses involved in shipping. By executing `npx cookiecrumbs init`, the command-line interface identifies your framework, connects your site, and generates a typed configuration file. The scanning process utilizes a real browser to load each page across all consent states, ultimately creating a cookie declaration. The consent banner holds various tags, pixels, and iframes until consent is granted for their respective categories, ensuring that the option to Reject all is made as visible as the Accept all option. Additionally, Google Consent Mode v2 is employed, adhering to regulations for the EU, UK, US states, Switzerland, Brazil, and Quebec. Each choice made by users is recorded in a hash-chained consent log, complete with signed exports, ensuring accountability and transparency in consent management. This comprehensive approach not only streamlines compliance but also fosters trust between users and platforms.

Description

Cloud images serve as operating system templates, with each instance initially being a perfect replica of the others. The unique attributes of each cloud instance are defined by user data, and cloud-init is the automated tool that applies this data to your instances. This includes various datasource and module references, along with numerous examples for easier implementation. Although cloud-init originated in Ubuntu, it has since been adapted for most major Linux distributions and FreeBSD. For providers of cloud images, cloud-init simplifies the variations among different cloud vendors automatically, ensuring that the official Ubuntu cloud images maintain consistency across all public and private cloud platforms. This uniformity allows users to deploy their applications without worrying about the underlying infrastructure differences.
