Description
Control Cloud serves as a centralized control plane for teams overseeing various public cloud environments alongside their on-premises infrastructure. It visualizes resources, networks, and their interdependencies in an up-to-date topology by leveraging provider APIs and read permissions granted by users, all without the need for agents installed on virtual machines. Prior to implementing any changes, the platform analyzes the current state of the cloud, taking into account factors such as credential scope, the availability of networks and subnets, accessibility of on-premises hosts, and dependencies related to templates. Any uncertainties regarding conditions are flagged as informational, rather than being incorrectly classified as confirmed. Additionally, Control Cloud produces Terraform scripts for deployment into a customer’s repository, allowing execution through their established pipeline and credentials. The system ensures that all credentials are securely encrypted using a managed Key Management Service (KMS), while all decisions made within the platform are logged immutably for audit purposes. This solution is crafted specifically for DevOps, platform, and cloud operations teams tasked with the management of infrastructure across diverse environments, offering them enhanced visibility and control. With its robust features, Control Cloud simplifies complex operations and fosters effective collaboration among teams.
Description
The IBM Cloud Direct Link solution facilitates a smooth integration between your local infrastructure and cloud resources. By offering high speed and dependable connections, IBM Cloud Direct Link allows organizations to effectively expand their data center networks while maintaining consistent, high-throughput connectivity that bypasses the public internet entirely. This solution empowers users to enhance capacity at their existing on-premises data centers by leveraging IBM Cloud Direct Link. With IBM Cloud Direct Link Dedicated, establishing a direct fiber connection within an IBM Cloud network point of presence (PoP) becomes straightforward and efficient. These low-latency, highly reliable connections ensure that data transfers between your on-premises facilities and IBM Cloud virtual private cloud networks are both secure and efficient. As traffic remains insulated from the public internet, disruptions and connectivity issues are significantly minimized. Furthermore, with bandwidth options ranging from 50 Mbps to 10 Gbps, you can select the optimal capacity that suits your organization's specific needs. This flexibility allows businesses to adapt to evolving demands while ensuring robust performance.
