REDCap serves as a secure online platform designed for the creation and management of surveys and databases. Although it is capable of gathering nearly any kind of data across various settings—while ensuring compliance with regulations such as 21 CFR Part 11, FISMA, HIPAA, and GDPR—it is particularly tailored for both online and offline data collection for research studies and operational purposes.
