Description
When organizing the audition details for your production, you can incorporate a maximum of 25 time slots, each of which can have a designated capacity limit. If the number of performers registering for a specific time block surpasses the set capacity, that slot will be removed from the audition form for subsequent applicants. The system evaluates the capacity of each time slot whenever an auditionee reaches the final stage of the form, which means there is a possibility that multiple individuals signing up simultaneously may lead to a popular time slot not being blocked for everyone. This situation is most likely to arise shortly after auditions are announced, as this is when a surge of applicants typically rushes to secure their preferred times. To mitigate the risk of overbooking, it's advisable to organize audition times for smaller groups rather than for individuals, whenever feasible. Additionally, implementing a waitlist system could further help manage demand and ensure a smoother audition process.
Description
TourneyStation is an online platform designed for tournament organizers, venues, and leagues managing live competitions in various activities such as pool, darts, cornhole, cards, bar leagues, and corporate challenges. By utilizing a single director console and a public link, it effectively replaces the need for traditional methods like whiteboards, spreadsheets, and group messaging.
The software allows users to import participant rosters through CSV, Excel, or direct pasting, customize seedings and skill levels, and create brackets for Single Elimination, Modified Single Elimination with a Second Chance, or Double Elimination formats. It also enables users to lock the draw, bench players, and accommodate late additions to first-round slots.
Organizers can assign matches to specific tables, courts, or stations and send text notifications to players when it's their turn to compete, complete with SMS history and an option to opt-out of messages. A live public scoreboard displays the bracket, current standings, and information on matches currently in play as well as those up next, while players are allowed to submit match results that directors can then verify.
The registration process is designed to manage participant capacity, deadlines, and includes a waitlist feature. Events can be showcased publicly based on sport, type, date, and venue, allowing for easy access and visibility for all interested participants and spectators. Overall, TourneyStation simplifies the tournament management process, enhancing the experience for both organizers and players alike.
