Description

Camarada, the grand prize winner of the Google I/O experiments challenge, is an innovative 3D camera that allows users to take 3D photos and videos, providing stunning 3D effects and illusions that can be viewed on-screen or shared with others. It is compatible with various viewing methods including cardboard VR viewers, red-cyan glasses for anaglyph viewing, as well as parallax and cross view options, along with support for 3D TVs. In solo mode, users can quickly capture stereoscopic 3D images by simply moving their smartphone from side to side, resulting in the creation of 3D GIFs, holograms, or images suitable for various viewing methods, such as cardboard VR viewers or 3D glasses, all while accommodating both portrait and landscape orientations and utilizing either front or rear cameras. This means that you can even take 3D selfies! Furthermore, in dual-phone mode, Camarada connects two smartphones for synchronized capture of stereoscopic 3D videos, allowing for an immersive viewing experience through your cardboard VR viewer or stereoscope. With such versatile features, Camarada truly enhances the way we capture and experience 3D visuals.
